On this one, let's remember what happened. The county did not over-rule the voters. The stadium was estimated at $250-300 million. The vote was negative multiple times. If it had been $100 million or less, it doesn't have to be approved by voters. So the county exec said the stadium would only cost $100 million.
There were then $250 million in cost overruns. We said "good job, how about you be governor now?"
Are we even done paying for the renovation to what is now Key Arena that we did to keep the Sonics in the 90's? We tore down the Kingdome before we were finished paying for it.
