Verizon FiOS and Netflix...online campaign?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get Verizon FiOS to back down with their bandwidth limiting and demands for payment from Netflix to stream video?

It's damned annoying that I pay verizon over a thousand dollars a year for them to cut my bandwidth usage to netflix. Is there a way to petition/demand Verizon to STOP THIS NONSENSE?
