I think this is one of those anecdotes that a person would tend to like and think has some substance only if it reinforces their world view. Liberals on the forum post similar types of anecdotes on occasion for pretty much the same reason. But it is only an anecdote and it's by a guy who has sour grapes about his experiences so at a minimum you gotta wonder about his objectivity. Short of a "makes me feel good" sort of thing for people who want to believe it, there's not much more worth considering about it.
