It's tempting when it seems like the prices are getting really close to those of high end 1080P models, but I still just don't see these early 4K models making sense. These screens will be long in the tooth by the time higher quality content is commonplace, and I am not convinced that they do a better job with most of today's available content.
Fortunately, the one that stands out to me, the new Sony 65" with full array local dimming, is still 2-3x what I'm willing to spend for a TV.
