I can't get to any Apple website even though downforeveryoneorjustme.com says it's fine

I was just coming back to say that the spigot has opened. A page that had been sitting there trying to load for 30 min (never got the network error thingy) loaded and now all computers open all apple web pages at blazing speeds.

Does it report an unknown host?

Does it stall and show asterisks at one point? If so, what's the last server that it hit before it stalled?

SO assuming that this was the case, this is one of those things that one can do nothing about and just wait for the server to reset - or something like that???
