Yeah - it sounds like they got their conviction by elimination, which can make for perpetual doubt, a la Serial. Basically, the argument is like the one used against Adnan (and OJ, for that matter): who else could possibly have done this, and why? Unfortunately for Aaron, once you're convicted it's generally not good grounds for appeal.
