C'mon Apple, prove me wrong! OK not by delaying it 'til 2017. 15 months between Mid-2011 and late 2012 Mini. But how long between 2012 and the new one? Wasn't it even longer?

The current mini has the 4xxx series CPU, the same generation as the 2015 MBP. Typically the mini won't get a new CPU until the new MBP (late 2015 or early 2016) has been out for six months.
