Speaking of Vintage Audio - How About HDMI?

My home stereo uses and AppleTV4 and a vintage Accuphase stereo. Here is how I have it wired.

All HDMI devices go directly into TV HDMI inputs (I only have ATV4 and Roku3)
Optical output from TV goes to FiiO D07 DAC which converts to analog
FiiO D07 DAC goes to a vintage infrared volume control
volume control goes into vintage stereo (I could probably put this in a tape loop)
done
