Don Blankenship makes a compelling argument
#1
...that is, if you're a hick back-country racist:

Ex-con coal baron Don Blankenship has arguably hit a new low in his bid to face Sen. Joe Manchin (R-WV), going after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) “China family” in a new ad with just days to go until the GOP primary.

“Swamp captain Mitch McConnell has created millions of jobs for China people. While doing so, Mitch has gotten rich. In fact, his China family has given him tens of millions of dollars,”

Understand, Blankenship is not even running against McConnell, or McConnell's wife, Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao (arguably the most competent and experienced member of the Trump cabinet.) Chao appears to only serve as a most tenuous link to exploit the racism of Blankenship's base in this ad.

Blankenship, if anyone has forgotten, is a multimillionaire coal mine owner who is still on parole for his role in failing to prevent a 2010 mine disaster that killed 29 of his workers.

But at least he aint no chink, ya know?

(...and they think this guy may actually have a chance of winning the GOP nom. (shiver))
