My experience with Creative Cloud has been that it auto-renews with no option to let it expire on it's own. It's a bit slimy of them to do so, because it auto-renews at a higher (non-promo) price and if you cancel there's a big penalty.

Like the dreadful cable company, their Indian call centers are compensated on the basis of retention. You have the power. Tell them to cancel. Get a better deal.
