He testified before the House committee yesterday. Well, he kinda did:
Even under subpoena, he refused...and his lawyer was on the phone with the White House during the questioning, asking them what questions he should answer.(!)
So, this guy is effectively asserting (selectively) executive privilege not for himself, but his former boss (who has not asserted executive privilege), during a time which includes before when Trump was president.
It was enough to even piss off Trey Gowdy.
One wonders how Steve will look in stripes.
