That's the way I feel about them-both incredibly expensive and not worth repairing. I tossed a C2D Aluminum 13" and an I5 that needed a keyboard and battery. Meanwhile I have an old white MacBook that keeps on chugging along with it's 8 GB of ram and SSD.
I'm back to Thinkpads mostly-I think they are ALL throwaways now.
