Hope he's reminded of this every time he's interviewed again, especially if he runs for the Senate.
It was a perfect response in the era of zero truth. Like his former boss, anything he says is not to be questioned. People like him insist on having the megaphone but never the responsibilities that come with it. “Media” is a threat because it consolidates power away, by reminding us all of the lies.
Never mind that the math doesn’t work out, that lying to the media somehow isn’t lying to everyone. Fantasies are like that.
