Stacey Abrams she ain't.

Kamala is FAR more accomplished than Stacey Abrams and I love Stacey Abrams.

I really don't think you guys know these people. You can't count on the winds to define who someone is.
I'm not sure that comparing Harris and Abrams apples-to-apples is a great way to do it.

Harris has done well in California. She has been politically tuned in to her environment since her first election to AG, but her campaign has flubbed the migration and translation of that acumen to other places, including Iowa. She and Abrams have also competed as Democrats in very different places, and although their careers have both emphasized public service, Harris' path to high office was different from Abrams', which has focused on justice for poor people and voter registration.

They are both incredible women, and either would be an immeasurable improvement over the current president. They both have work to do to show they can win in the broad contexts where they want to compete.
Her problem, just like Warren was going hard left early and now trying to wriggle back out of it and suffering the consequences of that. M4A is like a lead necklace. Harris is the main Democrat being targeted by bots and disinformation campaigns. Lies spread left and right about her. Pete never hewed that way and is setting up well for the first primaries despite him having run a city smaller than a tiny suburb.
