I had one bout of sciatic pain and I don't want that to ever happen again. What a nightmare. In my case it was just WAY too much inactivity. I try to not sit for more than 30min without getting up EVER. I try to make sure that take at least a 10min walk every day.
Yoga really seems like what I need, but I'm really lazy... If you're overweight, try to do something about it - you KNOW that doesn't help the situation.
