F/U on buying a used/open box iPhone

I'm actually considering going back to Sprint. Their current promotion is for an iPhone 11 (64GB) for $0/month on their 18-month flex lease if you get their unlimited plan for $60/month (or their $70 or $80 plans but they don't add anything that interests me). The $60 plan also includes Hulu.

I just have to decide whether I want the newest phone or not because I would be paying triple what I'm currently paying with Tello.
