So, I might buy a Nikon DSLR, except no one has any to sell.

Well, not no one, but the big camera retailers don't have much to offer.

Thinking about a D7500 to replace my D90 dinosaur.

B&H, Adorama out of stock. BestBuy has a 2-lens kit, but not a body-only. I don't need kits, I have a bag full of lenses and accessories, and those kit lenses don't bring much on resale especially after fees. I'd really like a factory refurb or maybe a vetted used from KEH, actually, to save a few $.
Amazon has some from sketchy sellers that might be gray market. Then there's eBay, but I'm not excited about such a big purchase there, unless it's one of the big retailers using it for outlet sales. The used prices there are not as good as the Adorama or B&H (out-of-stock) refurb prices

I'm curious why the pipeline is so dry. Is it COVID? Is it this bad for other camera brands, or just Nikon?
