The dosdude tool is cool. I realize I have a MBP 5,4 that could benefit from running Mojave. I think I'll try it - would give that Mac a whole new life.
He has tools for Sierra through Catalina, not just Mojave. Some older machines drop off his support list in newer OS versions, not sure the highest he supports for the MBP 5,4.

The Sierra tool didn't have the OS download feature, but his tools are useful for downloading the latest releases of High Sierra through Catalina.
Thanks. That laptop will run Catalina. I wonder whether it'll be ok in speed - but I bet it's faster than Mojave.
