The common thread was Christian nationalism/white supremacy. The group that tried to kidnap gov whitmer was there, and they are linked to Timothy McVeigh's group amd ideology.

This is the culmination of 20 years of ignoring our right wing domestic terror problem. They were a contingent in search of a general and they found him in Donald j trump.
