The towns up in the hills did get that foot or more of snow.
Being in the lowest part of the valley, it's almost like we have a dome over our town that keeps out the bad weather and good businesses. JoeH says 6 inches, I would have guessed 8, but close enough amongst friends. I am glad it was the light fluffy stuff, not the heavy wet that was predicted.
