As far as FIXING the problem, that is on the municipality or the state to fund and implement. Their town, their water, their self caused mess, they pay to fix it. If they can't, then the federal government needs to sue the state for payment or to force them to fix it. Either way, Federal dollars shouldn't bail out Michigan tax payers.
Just to be clear, it was not the residents of Flint that caused this. It was a state appointed Republican who made the decision to switch from the then current river source to the more acidic lake water. THAT is the absolute cause of the problem!
The ThenGovernor made the call. He should be held personally, criminally liable for this mess!
