If you do unload it, it would be nice to give it to Habitat for Humanity Restore. Ours has technicians who come by and fix appliances. Ours will also come by and pick up big stuff. They took a spa that had a bad motor and said their guy could fix it without any problem. Our Salvation Army doesn't have that repair capability.
