In The Rookies, they were rookies for four years or so, a bit long.
That's a little tough to pull off, in this age of instant gratification, and this season Fillion is looking much older than last.
But I wish they'd spent more time in Nolan's 'first year' on the job.
The wife and I enjoy the Rookie. I always wondered how they'd extend a show about a guy being a rookie. I figured, he'd get promoted to something else, then he'd be a different rookie. Then transferred or something and be a different rookie again. and so on.
