Youtuber WatchJRGo had three vehicles in desperate need of headlight restoration, so he bought all six kits available at his local O'Reilly's and compared them side-by-side, a different kit used on each headlight. The results were surprising, with one of the cheapest and easiest to use kits, Turtle Wax, doing the best job and some of the more expensive and labor-intensive kits not performing nearly as well as expected, even with the use of a powered buffer which the Turtle Wax kit didn't require.

Granted these were all VERY badly fogged headlights, and a couple of the kits did much better with a second or even third application, but the Turtle Wax kit did an astoundingly good job on the first try.
