Do cells shrink or disappear when losing weight?

I think the people who see the best results are the ones who have already lost the weight and can keep it off, but can't get rid of the excess bit of fat in their body.  Liposuction will get it out all at once, but again I think the best results are seen by people who have the will power to keep the fat off.  If you don't change your eating habits, it's just gonna come back.

Get a rubber water bottle, fill it with ice, add water, place on fat belly, destroy fat cells, repeat.  No need to freeze the cells, no danger of frostbite.
