Default Folder hijacking my browser

The last time this happened I came back to my computer which had the screensaver running with password protection. I had to click in the password field and quickly type the first letter of my password and then the screensaver app became a background app and I would have to again click very quickly the password field and quickly enter the next character. It took me about ten minutes to get back into my computer only to find Default Folder's page staring at me in my browser.

I think I'm going to disable this program.
