SuperDuper screws up icons, files won't open
#9
I got two overlapping issues here, one is just getting a usable, bootable clone now, and the other is finding a long term backup solution. So it sounds like Onxy may solve the immediate problem, but do I really want to abe making backups which need such heavy-duty massaging? The SuperDuper guy seem to think that if I buy the program so I can use the smart update or whatever it is this will not be a problems - that it will update fine. But I'd rather know that before I buy.

BTW when I say icons are lost, what I mean is I get the blank sheet of paper instead of the usual .pdf or quark icons - I'm not talking real custom icons, just the application icons.
