Let's see if this holds up, Canon 10D 6mp refurb $499 (for now)

I sure wouldn't bother with it.

Granted, with that being said there are some people for which the XT is a tad too small. I like the XT or Xti size but it is not for everyone, especially the larger pawed. Also the sturdier build may also be more appealing to some. This is for Canon users with existing lenses that want ot get in for that $499 range. There are also other alternatives form other companies if you want more recent chip and electronics.

My advice for anyone wanting to shoot ISO 1600 and 3200 for serious or client use is to get a 20D or 30D but those start at $825 for refurb and up.
