The thread below on blood pressure monitors made me pull mine out of the drawer to see what model number I had. While it was out I took my blood pressure
132/85 with an 81 pulse. Definitely not great but not too awful either. My doc says to aim for 120/80. I'm a bit surprised at the resting pulse, which is usually about 60. Probably this is a result of lack of exercise after suffering a deep vein thrombosis & pulmonary embolism. Time to get out running again! I certainly want to avoid meds if at all possible
Anybody else wrestling with overly high BPs? Have you caved to drugs or do you manage it through diet/exercise?
