Is DSL ISP# changeable?

I also have the same config as Carm does:
Westell 6100 DSL Modem
IP address: 192.168.1.1
username: admin
password: password

I at least thought when I downloaded firefox that I'd do
better than 55 kbps.

"Why do you want to change your ISP or IP?"
I guess due to a bit of paranoia, so many sites record your ISP, I'd like
the option of having a diff number.
