The medication is difficult to take orally. One is never "stable". The effects of the medication is like a sine wave: Tremors when it's time to take another pill, "Zombie-like" stiffness when the full dose of the pill hits your system.
The alternative is a microproccessor controlled implant for micro-miniature doses of the medication. Requires drilling holes in your head and implanting sensors and wires. I have a (now retired) business associate that has had the implant mechanism for three years.
