Will John McCain debate tomorrow night?

I really think McCain has backed himself into a corner. If no deal is reached, will he go to the debate? How will he explain his actions?
How long will he suspend his campaign if no deal is reached soon?
Are people really falling for this political grandstanding? I think they are unfortunately.
