Maybe he is teaching his children that suing people is the way to create wealth. They are old enough to have a kind of "boot camp" experience to toughen them up, let them get to know how to be around lawyers, how to manipulate the system.
This much money, that the family has, is mostly theoretical - there is too much to actually spend, it mostly just is in equities and accounts.
If he just GAVE them whatever the wife and her lawyers want, there would be no game.
This way, they get riding lessons everyday, French lessons, and how to be around lawyers lessons. There are probably 6 or 7 lawyers, each billing $800 an hour, maybe up to $1200 an hour.
It does boggle the mind.
