It's NOT about Iowans, it's about the process. Caucusing has as much in common with voting as baby formula has with mothers milk, while they may look alike they are not the same thing.
To caucus in Iowa means pre regeristering and giving up an entire day or evening. It's for the committed. Lacksidasical doesn't cut it there. If you caucus you are a soldier in the army of Huckabee or Mitt or Hillary or Edwards or Obama or anyone else you choose to support.
It's less an election than a poll of committed supporters.
The impressive thing in this election was the number of commited Deocrats doubled while the number of commited Republicans declined by almost the same margin. Bad news for the right.
