If you want to try and save the cube; you can find a different power supply on eBay. If you don't see one listed; look for the DVIator from Dr. Bott. It uses the exact same power supply as the cube.
A while back, power supplies were selling for $80-$100. Spendy part.
I now; where do you start with something that supposedly fried? How much do you spend?
I took a zapped slot load iMac G3 500. Put a $24 board in it and my daughter is using it right now. I hate to throw Mac stuff away.
My office has become "the land for misfit (Mac) toys."
