Someone tell me that weeks like this are rare please

So far this week the dog has eaten my iPhone($400), a hard drive died in my computer($150) and now the monitor on same computer has died($400). All told this is going to cost me almost $1000 to get back to having nothing more than I had the previous week. It is a painful hit to my pocketbook. I do have keg of beer on tap though so that is something to feel happy about I guess.
