Here is what I am assuming. Please correct me if I am wrong.
1. HDMI is a digital standard.
2. NTSC and PAL are analog standards.
3. NTSC and PAL are therefore irrelevant when connecting two devices via HDMI.
The reason I am asking is I am considering buying a large UK plasma screen TV. I can't have a US plasma shipped and my source for multisystem TVs (AAFES) just doesn't have what I want.
My current TV is a multisystem HD LCD, so it works fine with all of my devices.
I have many US HDMI devices (AppleTV, PS3, XBOX 360). If assumption 3 above is correct, then I have no worries. If not then I will have to wait for AAFES.
