500GB Seagate drive failed...they replaced it with a 750GB drive

I just can't stand the thought of using a refurbed hard drive.
Their return materials state that it will be refurbished. I haven't had a chance to take it out of it's electrostatic bag yet...just was able to see the label through the bag stating that it was 750GB.

The other thing is the drive failed within 3 months or so. I guess failure can just be random.
