Apparently, Palin received first Passport in 2007
#7
[quote karsen]If she had a passport for 20 years you would have thought higher of her?

She's meant to compliment McCain and help fill in some of his weaknesses. McCain has foreign policy covered. Two of the biggest attacks Obama has on McCain are he's out of touch with working America and he doesn't support equal pay for women. Palin helps deflect those attacks.
If she had traveled outside the country more than once, I would definitely have thought more highly of her. This is just one more example of how inexperienced she is. McCain could have picked another woman, one that had better credentials. What weakness does she fill other than age? How in touch is she with America? She lives as far away from the rest of America as possible, with the exception of Hawaii. If I knew for a fact that she would not succeed McCain, I probably wouldn't care all that much, but with his age and health record, I am concerned and she is not who I want to see in the White House.
