her partner, on the other hand, is quite the, um, handyman and assumes responsibility for many of the tasks around the house that would more commonly associated with being "man's work." She doesn't look masculine, nor does she have any particularly masculine characteristics, but she wouldn't be caught dead in a dress or skirt now that she's retired…she never has liked jewelry or anything fussy.
You don't have to be a lesbian to relate to that. The thing I find unfathomable about drag queens is that they voluntarily wear clothing and shoes that I wouldn't wear unless someone threatened to kill a puppy in front of me. And I'm handier about things like putting up drywall than my SO.
