in this day and age, how could the McCain campaign not appreciate the glare of scrutny highlighting "joe the plumber" in the debate would bring to the man's life. in the future, i bet any common folk named publicly will have their life vetted first and perhaps even permission secured to talk about them. in the meantime, i hope the McCain campaign sends joe a check for his back taxes. actually, Obama just might...
