When i initially hooked up with Verizon Fios i was paying $69.99 a month for HD-DVR + Internet (20mbps?) the fastest one...
After the year was up they jacked up the rates to the "regular" $120 a month. On a 50" plasma you really have no choice but to get the HD package. Regular TV looks blurry. I prefer to shut off the TV than watch blurry regular TV.
In the past year and a half of Verizon Fios i've had problems twice. Once was fixed over the phone. Unplug everything leave for a minute. Plug it all back in. Then some behind the scenes stuff. Done.
The next time i called them,, it wasn't fixed over the phone, they had a guy scheduled to come look at it.. but then the next morning it was working fine. *shrugs*
That's about it. Other than that it's been rock solid.
One little nit-picky thing... there's a 1-second lag from when you press the channel button to when you see the program on-screen. Waggghhhh!!
