iMac invisible to other computers on network

I'm wondering if you have two routers, and the Mini is on a different LAN.

That's what I was going to ask... Are you positive that it's on YOUR wireless network?

It's also possible, but unlikely, that the wired network and the wireless network have different IP address ranges.

Jeff
only one router. no other network in range and the iMac shows it's on our network. also, the iMac prints to the brother which is on our network so the iMac is definitely connected.

the iMac CAN communicate with the eMac and the laptop. i am missing some setting somewhere that is preventing the iMac and the Mac Mini from connecting.
