Now how much do I charge for this PowerPoint Presentation? 500+ Slides...
#1
Ok, I now have the details on the job I need to quote.

There are over 500 slides broke up into three separate PowerPoint presentations. They will provide a master format and all the type. I'm just trying to figure out how quickly I can turn this around working in the evenings and on the weekends seeing it is a "FREELANCE JOB".

I'm need to tell them my "hourly rate" and about "how many slides I can get done in a hour" or a "per slide cost"... I also need to budget time for researching...

500+ slides? Geese, is this a headache? I figure that if the format is there and if they have everything already typed, how hard could this be... Should I charge $3.00 per slide and assume that I can get 20 slides done an hour. Should I just tell them $40 per hour and I estimate it will take 25 hours. Really, what do I charge... Really, I'm thinking that I could bang this out in a couple of nights if they have everything ready for me when I pick it up. However, I know it's going to be a small headache so I want to be well compensated for the job. Also, they are going to mark it up seeing they are an agency.

Any further advice?

Thanks!
Bill
