Hey Guys, we made it through the storm but have no power.

I am posting this from the iBook and dial-up. The storm hit us at 4:15 am and I ran around unplugging the iBook and shutting down the inteliMac just before all hell broke loose. I didn't get to the eMac and airport upstairs so they went through a hard shut-down when the power crashed and went out.

We had about 15 minutes of hail, wind, more lightening than I think I have seen in quite a while, it looked like a strobe. I had gotten the husband, daughter and both cats and we were deciding when to go to the basement and it was all over, just that quick.

I had gotten the TV on for just long enough to see the dark red cell over us and hear them say that there may be rotation in the cell and then the power went off.

I haven't been out to see if we had any damage, but just looking out the windows and doors it looks like things are pretty much OK. We will have to see if there is any damage further up the road. I called the power company again a few minutes ago and they said they were working on it, but they didn't know when they would have us restored. At least it is light now and we can see. Last night it was even more frightening with just a couple of flash lights.

So here in Alpharettta, GA we are OK. Let's hope neighbor Mike Sellers and Jimmypoo and Decocritter who is more in town Atlanta, weathered it OK, too.

BunBun wanted me to post that she is not happy because I won't open the fridge to get at her canned food. I hope she can have it for lunch instead of breakfast. Big Grin
