I heard a few days ago that Washington is planning to require that each cartridge casing have a serial number stamped on it, making ammunition makers to add a step in the manufacturing process. If they are going to do something like that to trace who fired the shot they should require the number to be on the bullet. Most of them are lawmakers so stupid that they probably do not realize that there are two parts to a "bullet".
Yesterday I was at Cabela's just south of Austin, TX. The gun counter was jammed with maybe 50 customers buying their guns and ammunition before more restrictive laws are passed.
