my point is that those who are responsible, will act responsibly. those who are not, will not.
casting drugs as illegal has cost this country far more cherished resources than is obvious. it is a dominant factor in both our foreign & domestic policies. few world views can lay claim to both arenas.
on top of all of that policy talk, what we have called a "war" has failed so miserable for so long with so little change in sight that the question begs to be asked:
why don't we end this failed war on drugs?

That'll work out well. I'm sure we'll all use it responsibly and have no further problems with crime associated with drugs.
