I know someone who does event photography and gets her prints done there, and can get overnight service on huge orders. Its all about relationships.

I have taken in prints on Kodak professional Portra or Supra color print paper that I ahve printed myself, and tried to get scanned in a hurry. No go. It is a pro paper. they are just covering their butts from a liability standpoint.

Consider if someone was stealing your work and they enabled it? You would be singing a different tune.

I'm a highly paid photographer, and have the local Costco do prints for me all the time.
