if piracy gets too bad with respect to Apple software, they will surely resort to some really invasive and PITA serialization and activation schemes. And rightly so.
Right now, nothing stops you from buying a single retail install disk and installing it on hundreds of machines. Or iLife and installing it on an entire families fleet of Macs. Nothing but your conscience, and how well your parents raised you.
Well, that and the wording on the EULA forbids installing the software on non-Apple hardware.
