VHS to HD?

It all depends on the quality of your converter and the bitrate you set. If it's blocky, it sounds like your bitrate is set too low. I set 2hr/DVD (~5Mbit/sec) as my rate (a bit overkill for VHS) and my images are as good as the original VHS. And a 2-hr movie fits on 1 DVD. My conversion stream is less than ideal though I've worked on the process for 2 years and now I'm getting maximum quality all the way through.

That's what I'm looking for. Thanks for the advice.
